Mrs. Cheryl Jackson
Mrs. Jackson has taught Music for 25 years, with the last 12 being at Necedah. Prior to Necedah, she taught in the Florida Keys for two years, and at New Lisbon for eleven years. She grew up in the Twin Cities and graduated from Robbinsdale-Cooper High School. She received her Bachelor's of Science in Music Education from Winona State University.
Mrs. Jackson uses the Orff approach to teaching music, and has been very involved over the last several years with starting an Orff Chapter in central Wisconsin. Her chapter, the North Central Wisconsin Chapter, helped the Milwaukee Chapter host the National Professional Development Conference that took place in Milwaukee in 2009.
